Baseball Wins So Cal Challenge

The Los Angeles Pierce College Baseball team pulled off a stunning victory against Cerritos College in the So Cal Classic, capped by a clutch grand slam in the top of the ninth inning. Down 4-1 in the final inning, Freshman Jonathan Bogacz not only secured the win but also earned the MVP title, solidifying his spot as the tournament hero.

After the Pierce dugout was sent into a frenzy. Freshman Brayden Briscoe sealed the win with his second save of the season. The Brahma bullpen combined for zero earned runs. This win moved Pierce's record to 4-1 in the young season. The Brahmas will now travel to Antelope Valley on Thursday, Feb 6. The first pitch is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
