After being close to etching a victory in their previous contests, the LA Pierce Men's Soccer team finally found themselves in the win column.
The Brahmas pulled off a 1-0 road win against Chaffey College last Friday.
Sophomore Gilberto Chavez scored early just three minutes into the game via an assist by freshman Carlos Ruano. While Pierce had another 10 shots on goal they were not able to find the back of the net again. The lone goal from Chavez was enough for the victory.
Pierce looks to use the momentum in their next home game On Tuesday, Oct 1 at 7 p.m.
