Basketball Sweeps Double-Header On Sophomore Night

Both Men's and Women's basketball sweeped Cuesta College in a season-ending doubleheader.

The two programs also celebrated sophomore night highlighting their acheivements. 

Men's Basketball: Jaden Williams, Keshawn Christian, Dominic Williams, GD Deng and Isiah Salim.

Women's Basketball: Tijera Henry, Chassen Gutierrez, Kayla Fisher, Nahyan Noor, Lamyia Sorhaindo, and Jailynn Griffin.

In the opening game, Men's Basketball out lasted Cuesta 77-67. Both lineups consisted of sophomores.

Isiah Salim recorded a double-double with 22 points and 11 rebounds. Keshawn Christian recorded 19 points, while GD Deng recorded 17 points in their final Pierce game.

Women's Basketball completed the sweep over Cuesta College with a 66-59 victory. 

Chassen Gutierrez led all scorers with 22 points. Kayla Fisher recorded a double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds. Tijera Henry added another double-header with 11 points and 13 rebounds.

Women's Basketball finished with a winning season record at 15-13.
