Swim Gear Up For Conference With Exceptional Meet At Pasadena
April 10, 2024
This meet was a great experience to get our team ready for the upcoming Western State Conference Championships. Each swimmer competed in 10 races which was quite grueling, but helps to prepare the swimmers for our 3 day meet at Conference swimming in prelims and finals.
The Pierce women placed 4th overall out of 11 teams. This is the highest our school has ever placed at this meet. We beat ELAC, Ventura, Fullerton, Cypress, Pasadena, Craton Hills, and College of the Canyons. Everyone performed well and we could not be prouder of their accomplishments.
The Pierce men placed 5th overall and did so with one of our swimmers unable to make the meet on Saturday. Everyone swam all 10 races and competed in challenging events such as the 500 free, 400 IM, and 1650 free and the 200 fly. The Pasadena Invitational has been a favorite for our team and we represented Pierce College well.
