At last the LA Pierce College Women's Basketball Team was able to get back into the in column. It was their first conference win after losing four straight.
It was a smooth night for Pierce, as they led by as much as 33 points. Their bench also scored a whopping 33 points. The Brahmas dominated in the paint scoring 48 points, and outrebounding their opponents 64-23.
Tijera Henry led the Brahmas in scoring with 19 points, Kayla Fisher added 15 points and 12 rebounds off the bench. Bahiyjaui Allen and Chassen Gutierrez also recorded double doubles. Pierce now moves to 1-4 in conference play, and 13-8 overall.
Pierce now hits the road to face Cuesta College on 1/31 at 7 p.m.
