Bio

As a husband and father of two brilliant young adult Sydney, and Justin as well as granddaughter Allura. Robert Horowitz has joined the Los Angeles Community College District in 1993. His first post of duty was 23 years at Los Angeles City College. Robert then transferred to pierce college in 2012. Robert spends his morning hours as part of  S.C.O.I CRM rehab team in Van Nuys since February 2006 as a Physical Therapist Assistant and a Certified Athletic Trainer. Robert graduated from California State University, Northridge in 1986 with a Bachelor Arts in Physical Education/Kinesiology with area of specialty in Athletic Training as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Robert also has a master’s degree in physical education from Azusa Pacific University.

Robert has been a Certified Athletic Trainer for Los Angeles Community college for more than two decades, Robert has work for California Angels Professional sports teams in their minor league system.  A great achievement for Robert was while working for the California Angels Organization in Davenport, Iowa, Robert had the pleasure of being the Co -Athletic Trainer for the Midwest League All Star Game, as well as the Head athletic trainer for the Midwest League Champion Quad City Angels.  Robert also works in the capacity of Athletic Trainer for women's Pro Beach Volleyball.

 Robert has worked over twenty two years in various levels of Sports medicine Athletic Training from College, professional and Outpatient orthopedic setting. He also has extensive background in and aquatic rehabilitation.

 Robert finds time outside of workto hang out with his dogs as well to travel by R.V with his wife and camping group. He also enjoys camping at the beach and in the mountains as well as national parks and local camping grounds.
