Athletics Recruit Form

Please fill out this form if you are interested in attending Los Angeles Pierce College as a student-athlete. The information you fill out below will be forwarded to the head coach of the sport in which you are interested.

Fee Payment

Students enrolled in credit classes within the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD), including at Los Angeles Pierce College (LAPC), must pay their enrollment fees to prevent being dropped from classes. Enrollment fees include tuition and associated fees.

LAPC Athletics strongly encourages all student-athletes to submit their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and understand their financial resources in advance.  This will ensure student-athletes are aware of the expected costs to attend LAPC, especially those coming from other states or countries. Please note that LAPC Athletics is  not affiliated with any third-party agencies that claim to pay tuition on students’ behalf.

Please review the information found at the links below regarding the new payment fee policy, student options, and payment plan for LACCD students.

Residency

LAPC Athletics makes no guarantee that non-resident students will qualify for resident tuition in their second year. Establishing California residency for tuition purposes involves a formal process with specific requirements. LAPC Athletics strongly encourages all students to immediately consult directly with the Admissions and Records Office to understand the eligibility criteria, procedures, and documentation required to apply for California residency.

Important: Any out-of-state student-athlete is responsible for all housing expenses and will not receive financial support from LA Pierce College staff or employees. Living on your own can be very expensive, and most time, financial aid alone will not cover all of it. Plan accordingly.

The California Commission on Athletics has very specific rules as they relate to recruitment of players outside our recruiting area. One of the most important is the FIRST CONTACT rule which says that YOU were responsible for making first contact with our program.
