The Los Angeles Pierce College Men's Soccer team moved to a .500 conference record with their latest win. The Brahmas defeated Allan Hancock 2-0 at home.
It was the first meeting between the two sides, and the game would be a little chippy. Allan Hancock recorded two red cards during the game. Pierce was able to use an effective attack for a total of 14 shots. Santana Sakai headered in his second goal of the season off a Carlos Ruano cross, before the first half ended to give them a 1-0 lead. For much of the second half, Piece inched closer to finding a second goal throughout the latter part of the game. Eventually did as a crisp pass from Carlos Chavez set up Gilberto Chavez for the 2-0 lead. The Brahmas host LA Mission next on Friday, November 1st. Kick-off is at 7:00 p.m.
